Project Initiation

In this step we align stakeholders around a project vision that enables us to drive the project forward.. with clear intentions.

  • Purpose. To identify and align project stakeholders, agree project vision and gain agreement re: project parameters.
  • What we Do. Briefing meeting with client team – agree critical success factors, concerns, considerations, goals and outcomes.
  • What we Deliver. Report on project objectives and project plan.
Research & Analysis

We investigate your current situation to understand the issues you are facing and where your brand equity lies. We learn the sacred cows so we keep these alive at all times.

  • Purpose. To understand the current situation (brand, trends, market, competition), competitive landscape and performance.
  • What we do. Audit key touch points (traditional & digital) and that of main competition. Qualitative research based on materials supplied unless commissioned (B2B or B2C), reviews with stakeholders & desk based research.
  • What we deliver. Presentation and report on findings regarding brand perception and equity (value to be retained). This presentation may take place as part of the strategy presentation.
Visioning & Goal Setting

At this stage we start work on the helping to understand the strategic objectives of the brand itself.

  • Purpose. To discover the ‘heart & soul’ & strategic objectives for the brand – vision, values, personality etc that makes up DNA.
  • What we do. Workshops with project stakeholders to explore vision and identify core ambitions and strengths.<
  • What we deliver. Brand Brief outlining the core brand essence – the strategic and creative DNA. This process may also includes presentation of the brand benchmarking and design research.
Strategic Platform

Using Unisono’s strategic model, we map out and draft the fundamental, defining properties of the brand.

  • Purpose. To develop a fit-for-purpose brand strategy consistent with the DNA to direct the brand and inspire the create process.
  • What we do. Develop brand strategic framework including Vision, Values, envisioned future (inputs to corporate mission) Brand Positioning, Essence, Promise and Personality.
  • What we deliver. The brand platform which will be delivered as a core component of the subsequent step. This is presented in draft form in a presentation workshop session where we also review mood boards.
Conceptualisation 
& Identity

This is where we put a face on the thinking and strategy gets interpreted into identity, both visual and literal.

  • Purpose. To agree the visual and literal identity of the brand.
  • What we do. Develop the right expression of the DNA through the full corporate identity system. From design research and initial identity studies, to selection of candidates for extension and systemisation and application studies
  • What we deliver. Holistic brand presentation – the strategic brand platform and three solution candidates.
Finalisation, Application Testing & Guidance

We define the right brand identity tools & expressions to help create a winning brand perception

Healian brand guideline spreads
  • Purpose. To ensure the solution is finalised to work in professional application across all key touch points
  • What we Do. Confirmed final identity & archive of all visual properties. Initial (interim) guidelines document.
  • What we Deliver. Testing of solution across brand touchpoints. Finalise and test artwork to ensure accuracy of reproduction, develop ‘identity toolkit’ and compile as an archive, create initial basic brand guidelines documentation
Launch & Rollout

We ensure a well managed launch and roll out is provided to all stakeholder groups. More text to come in here post content development stage

Edamah. Billboard
  • Purpose. Ensure all key brand tools are ready for roll out in the launch phase and ensure understanding throughout client team
  • What we Do. We create foundation brand guidelines and key visual devices and establish impact on current state of brand expression across each touchpoint type – identifying the requirements to achieve smooth implementation.
  • What we Deliver. A presentation detailing the scope of impact and likely approach and scope of work for the roll out and launch
Handover & Management

We ensure a well managed launch and roll out is provided to all stakeholder groups. More text to come in here post content development stage

  • Purpose. To ensure the internal teams and external agencies are aligned and ready to receive the brand toolkit.
  • What we Do. Liaise with key stakeholders responsible for brand delivery, review brand assets in use, in-the-field to help agencies align their creations  to the best-cases examples we shared.
  • What we Deliver. Review of output by internal and external with marked up files for review and reiteration by the responsible stakeholders.
