A launch of bold ambition
Background to the Khaleeji Brand Book
Spanning over two years, from inception to delivery, the newly reborn and rebranded Khaleeji was a labour of intense love for everyone involved. To commemorate the momentous occasion of its re-launch and to create greater understanding of the new brand strategy and creative expression, with the VIP attendees, board and staff, we crafted a beautiful new Khaleeji Brand Book. Designed and produced with love, this book was produced and delivered to guests as the launch event.
Creative Challenge
Our strategic task was to create a book that helped the audience attending the launch event to dive a little deeper into the Khaleeji’s strategic brand transformation. To help them understand what the new identity was expressing and how the slogan succinctly captured their purpose.
We used the newly commissioned brand photography across the piece, which really tied it into the 360º marketing campaign (also by Unisono) which accompanied the launch. A double page spread gatefolds out to explain what all the core elements of the brand identity mean, which has helped solidify the understanding of the brand in the minds of investors, staff and customers alike.
Production Notes
For the production of the Khaleeji Brand Book We used Curious Skin Black paper for the cover which we hit with black foil to leave an impression as prestigious as the new brand’s position. The new brand pattern was applied using spot UV varnish to add a little pop. The contrast between the fold-back matt paper cover and the glossy patterned first page created immediate intrigue with readers.
